Curious to see how the next Palm device might speed through its operations? WebOS hacker caj2008 over on the Precentral forums, along with others, has been able to modify the processor speed on current Pres and has managed to take the processor from 500 Mhz to 800 Mhz.

While this is great for some that don’t mind living on the edge with their current phones, the big grin that comes across our faces is that Palm’s next device will likely be running at 800 Mhz or higher out of the box with no modifications. Phones like the Nexus 1 are running at 1 Ghz, oh what we would love for some of that in the next Palm device!
